Auto req ID: 273280BR Job Description JOB PURPOSE Own the reconciliation and control of Logistics Costs, supporting with process improvement and compliance Support execution of the GCS / Fixed Asset audits Hold the Operations teams accountable to cost management, and provide commentary on key drivers, identifying cost efficiencies and opportunities Support the Site Finance Manager on ad hoc projects Ensure compliance to GCS & SOX is adhered to at all times POSITION IN ORGANISATION Reports to the Site Finance Manager and requires stakeholder engagement to Operations. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Own reconciliation in partnership with financial control to ensure compliance to the processes and to hold the Operational teams accountable. Partner the Operations teams on cost management identifying cost drivers, and driving efficiencies. Execute the GCS / Fixed asset audit within the UK sites (x3 Warehouse Locations) Support the finance manager with ad-hoc projects relating to the system and integration / adoption across the site. Ensure GCS and SOX compliance JOB DIMENSIONS Financial Support for the delivery of Forecasting / Variance analysis Will support and drive the system capability / adoption to allow the business to operate as usual and drive management information on financial aspects Non – Financial Build relationships to be seen as an extended member of the on shift leadership team, provide challenge when appropriate DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY Ensure GCS and SOX compliance Stakeholder Management and Variance reporting to Key budget holders Qualifications/Requirements Professional accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA) Ideally (Not essentially) Logistics accounting experience Ideally (Not essentially) the candidates should have SAP and / or financial accounting experience Advanced Excel skills Drive for results/ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines Ability to influence upwards to affect the results & progress of the action plan Communication skills to all levels Relocation Eligible: Not Eligible for Relocation Job Type: Temporary We are an equal opportunity employer and comply with the Equality Act 2010, we value diversity at our company; it is an essential part of our success.
