We create improvements and efficiency through service delivery, remote operations, automation and advanced analytics.<br><br><b>Partner with the best</b><br><br>As a Technician Welder, you will play a key role in our daily plant operations to ensure reliability and consistency on our production line.<br><br>As a Technician Welder, you will be responsible for:<br><br><ul><li>Perform Assembly, Testing, Welding and/or ReDress of equipment</li><li>Ensure all work orders are completed with documentation in associated systems</li><li>Liaise with lead/supervisor/manager to identify any 3rd party welding requirements and process accordingly with SAP PO</li><li>Assists in maintaining plant production by making repairs within scope of expertise</li><li>Interprets and follows through on work orders following various safe work procedures</li><li>Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques.</li><li>Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine appropriate welding process.</li><li>Welds all types of commonly used metals and alloys of various sizes, shapes, and thicknesses, including dissimilar metals such as copper to steel.</li><li>Good mechanical aptitude, including developing skills in use of general hand tools and precision measuring equipment</li><li>Identify cost-out opportunities and elevate to lead/supervisor/manager/AMO engineer for review/implementation.</li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion</b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br><br><ul><li> Have a technical diploma and/or minimum of 2 years of experience in MIG, TIG welding</li><li>Have a strong awareness of HSE and the ability to work independently in a safe manner and strictly adheres to all safety requirements and procedure</li><li>Have experience in using GMAW, SMAW and GTAW & Plasma</li><li>Have knowledge on various grades of Materials Like WCC, 316, P
1,3,4,5A& 5B ,6,8,15E and selection of electrodes</li><li>Be able to follow working procedure, working instruction like WPS, PQR & WPQ</li><li>Be able to read the engineering drawing and prepare weld coupon</li><li>Be able to use measurement methods and handling measurement tools</li><li>Be able to work and communicate well with others</li></ul><br><br><b>Work in a way that works for you</b><br><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
