Find out more on careers.rentokil-initial.com Requirements Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: PRINCIPAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES Manage IT support, test, documents, installs, upgrades and maintains information systems according to standards including, but not limited to, desktop software, desktop/network operating systems, mobile devices, desktop applications, network security, site system patches, cabling, local site servers, printers, telecommunications equipment, back-up devices, network equipment and other computer peripherals. Ensures all technical support related activities comply with the global compliance standards and procedures. Works with Infrastructure Manager (Regional IT) to solve business concerns adhering to corporate standards (IT Security and IT Operations). Project Deployment Management (Hardware and Software Management) Installing and configuring computer system Troubleshooting system and network problem and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks Develops flowcharts, tables, diagrams, formulas and methods for IT operations Supports and installs communications software and equipment that accesses the external and internal data networks Provides technical expertise to the user community in solving day-to-day issues Provides basic introductory training to the user community for new desktop systems. Assists in the maintenance and testing of the disaster recovery plan Escalates issues and concerns to appropriate IT management and regional IT support group Works with various technology suppliers in the purchase and maintenance of site infrastructure. SAFETY, HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT 1. Effective SHE Management within their scope of work. 2. Participate in training necessary for his SHE role. 3. Report incidents, accidents or other issues to Line Manager. 4. Assist in investigation of incidents. Recommend & follow-up on prevention measures. 5. Address hazards/ non-conformances brought to their attention. 6. Assess whether his/ her workers work safely & ensure safety rules are followed. 7. Train, instruct and supervise staff, contractors under their control adequately on their duties and the SHE aspects. 8. Monitor and maintain good housekeeping in the area under their control. 9. At all times set a good example to comply with SHE work practices and rules. 10. Ensure hazards are minimized for staff, contractors, visitors and public. Do you have what it takes?
