Construction Engineer - Subsea

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Massy Wood is seeking experienced and knowledgeable<b> Construction Engineer - Subsea</b> for a potential project to be based in Trinidad. <br><br>The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 25 years' experience in a Subsea Construction Engineering role and will be expected to support technical and operational consultation for a range of assets. <br><br>Key Responsibilities: <br><br><ul><li> Technical assurance lead for all CSS construction related activities including <ul><li> Review and approve installation contractors procedures </li><li> Provides onshore and offshore execution planning readiness </li><li> Ensures compliance to bp construction standards </li><li> Ensures compliance to industry construction standards </li><li> Liaises with HSSE to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements </li><li> Leads resolution of all technical challenges related to the CSS scopes of work </li><li> Ensures 3rd party technical queries are addressed and embedded in execution plans </li><li> Embeds bp Risk Action Plan requirements in all bp and contractor deliverables </li><li> Embeds lessons learned from bp global projects </li></ul></li><li> Develop CSS execution documentation and lead Client and contractor reviews in compliance with the Client's Construction Practice </li><li> Provision of all vessel verification activities and works with Client's Marine to ensure approval all nominated </li><li> Works with the onshore construction team to ensure alignment on HDD scope of </li><li> Perform site visits and provide site supervision of CSS-managed scopes of </li><li> Works with onshore and offshore brownfield teams to lead resolution of any site related </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> First Degree in Engineering (BSc, BEng). </li><li> Membership of a professional body preferred. </li><li> Professional, chartered or registered engineering status preferred. </li><li> Typically a minimum of 12 years' minimum relevant experience. </li><li> Experience with diving construction work, pipeline installation and related construction activities </li><li> Project Management, Construction Engineering & Management Transportation & Installation </li><li> Logistics Management </li><li> Subsea Execution, HDD and Onshore Execution Readiness & Management </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
