Collections Team Leader

As part of this project and a new team, your role as a Collections Lead will be to build and co-manage a strong relationship with our client organization and monitor your performance based on SLA and KPIs defined for the countries being supported. What you'll be doing: Receivables management (evidence of due invoices, issuance of payment letters, creation of reports on the situation of debtors); Solving exceptions; Solving customer problems addressed by email/ phone; Preparation of reports including payment due dates; Ensuring the fulfillment of the performance indicators according to the contract with the client; Monthly calculation of performance indicators; reports, testing new procedures & programs, creating and updating SOPs; Periodically checking the management accounts; Accountable for the team's performance (ensures that agreed service levels are met); Make sure that the workload is distributed in the team in order to avoid backlog; Deliver performance dashboards at defined interval of time; Coordinate with executives as an escalation point to resolve open issues; Finds solutions to raised queries and issues; Ensures that the policies, legal regulations and audit requirements are met and maintained; Responsible for process improvements/new projects. The skills & experience you need: English language skills (speaking, writing and reading); German language skills (speaking, writing and reading); Bachelor degree – preferable in Finance/Commerce; Strong previous experience in order to cash / accounts receivable / collection; Good verbal & written communication skills; Rigorous and accurate working style; Good working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel); Previous exposure to ERP tools would represent an advantage; Team player; Problem analysis and problem solving; Focused on process improvements; Focused on meeting deadlines; People management.
