We accept every challenge for the benefit of our Company, our industry, and the world. <br><br><b> Responsibilities </b><br><br>Works on all aspects of the creation and delivery of ML/AI-enabled solutions including problem definition, data <br>acquisition, data exploration, feature engineering, experimenting with various ML algorithms, evaluating metrics, <br>deploying models, and iteratively improving the total solution.<br>4.2 Works closely with other members of technical staff, Product Management, Services, management, and other <br>internal and external customers, to determine needs and identify solutions.<br>4.3 Partners and works with other Data Scientists and Analytics Solution Architects to create analytics solutions.<br>4.4 Works closely with other members of technical staff, Product Management, Services, and management to <br>evaluate third-party analytic solutions and offerings.<br>4.5 Works with data from diverse, unstructured formats including numerical, time series, text, and image.<br>4.6 Reviews tender documents and provides input and/or responses to specific questions relating to analytics.<br>4.7 Creates artifacts that clearly communicate analytic solutions, including information such as explanations of <br>models and the quality of models developed, to both internal and external stakeholders.<br>4.8 Provides guidance as a technical advisor to the organization and management, acting as a bridge for <br>understanding and communicating between management and technical resources for key and complex <br>technologies.<br><br>4.9 Participates in estimation, planning, and identification of risks and issues.<br>4.10 Actively engages in process improvements and execution of established processes.<br>4.11 Understands and complies with all safety rules and company policies.<br>4.12 Performs various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.<br><br><b> Qualifications </b><br><br><b> Essential :</b><br><br>&bull; Experience applying data science to create ML, AI, and analytics solutions that can be deployed on the <br>cloud, on premise, or at the edge<br>&bull; Experience with data science tools such as Databricks, Jupyter Notebooks, Spark, Pandas, NumPy, <br>Matplotlib, ggplot2, Tidyverse, data.table and markdown<br>&bull; Good knowledge of Python or R and various ML libraries and packages such as Keras, PyTorch, <br>Theano, TensorFlow and Scikit-learn<br>&bull; Good understanding of different data types such as time-series, structured, unstructured, etc.<br>&bull; Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, Mongo, Hadoop, etc.<br>&bull; Strong technical leadership and communication skills<br>&bull; Excellent problem-solving skills<br>&bull; Capacity to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt to change<br>&bull; Able to balance technical considerations with business considerations<br>&bull; Ability to take direction and work well with others<br><br><b>Preferred</b> :<br><br>&bull; Knowledge of oil and gas and energy industry data and problems to which analytics can be applied in <br>these areas<br>&bull; Knowledge of tools and platforms provided by various cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and GCP<br>&bull; Knowledge of analytic visualization tools such as Plotly Dash, Tableau, or PowerBI<br>&bull; Knowledge of orchestration tools such as Prefect, Luigi, and other cloud vendor solutions<br>&bull; Experience with Big Data and streaming data<br>&bull; Experience with Natural Language Processing<br>&bull; Experience with MATLAB and Excel.
