Offer Analyst

Reporting to the Offer Analyst Manager in Costa Rica, the Offer Analyst will provide a dynamic support function to the Application & Cloud Transformation Group (Enterprise Sales organization), focusing on supporting their geographic focused commercial SaaS proposal requests. Offer Analysts will be responsible for working closely with the Sr. Offer Analyst to research enterprise account history leveraging proprietary Offer Manager tools accessing VMware account history databases. This is an excellent position to join VMware on a new team in Costa Rica or continue your early career at VMware sharpening your data analytics skills, leveraging tools and date, and collaborating with seasoned Sr. Offer Analysts to drive pipeline through impactful proposals. Responsibilities: Learn the Automated Intelligent Proposal Engine (AIPE) & Propensity Tool Understand the differences between SaaS, Subscription and Perpetual licensing Support the Sr. Offer Analyst in collaboration with account teams and other stakeholders Participate in the development of a thesis for each account’s white space opportunities Master Researching IB, Spend History, Past Value Delivered, Future Value and OM Pricing Develop expertise and proficiency in Offer Manager tools Manage daily inbound proposal requests from the field Track geographic team activity and manage reporting to Offer Analyst Manager (VETS) Required Experience: Excel expertise Analytical problem-solving skills: ability to seek insights from data Critical thinking Fluent in English Proactive behaviors and mindset Strong verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills Interest in building financial acumen and an understanding of ROI/TCO Collaboration effectiveness over ZOOM and/or TEAMS Preferred Experience: 1-3 yrs Software Industry experience – software licensing experience Bachelor’s Degree in Analytics, Business, Accounting, Project Management, or other related fields Understanding of project management fundamentals Proven ability to influence others through thoughtful engagement Microsoft PowerPoint Skills Category : Sales Subcategory: Sales Administration Experience: Manager and Professional Full Time/ Part Time: Full Time Posted Date: 2022-08-05 VMware Company Overview: At VMware, we believe that software has the power to unlock new opportunities for people and our planet.
