<p><b>Overview / Responsibilities </b><br />

Wood has an opportunity available for a<b> Construction Progress Coordinator (Site)</b> to support our construction team on our Project site near Gogama, ON. Reporting to the Project Controls Manager, the Construction Progress Coordinator must have a strong understanding of earned value management, rules of credit and work breakdown structure. They will be performing duties such as coordinating construction percent complete, quantity installed information from all of the Construction Contracts on-site, to report a weekly overall Construction Progress and weekly Construction Progress per contract.<br />
<br />
This position is fly-in/fly-out, with a current rotation of 14 days on (12 hours per day), 14 days off.<br />
<br />
<b>Key Responsibilities</b></p>
<p> </p>
<ul>
<li>Calculate Overall Construction Progress and Construction Progress per Contract utilizing the established MS Access database, and produce weekly graphs and tables to show the progress.</li>
<li>Coordinate with the Site Planning Team to produce quantity tracking & forecasting reports</li>
<li>Coordinate with the Site Planning Team for alignment on construction progress basis / budget hours / quantities</li>
<li>Follow the well established procedures for cost coding, schedule coding, and progress reporting</li>
<li>Ensure data integrity of the MS Access database that holds all of the quantity / hour / progress information</li>
<li>Coordinate with the Project Team members for the collection of data, evaluate and assess the information provided for completeness and accuracy.</li>
<li>Quickly become proficient in extracting data / reports from Primavera and Wood&
39;s proprietary cost system Convero.</li>
<li>Keep and file records / back-up of each weekly progress update on the Project Sharepoint Site.</li>
<li>Initiate & host progress review meetings with the appropriate Project Team members.</li>
<li>Create power-point presentations explaining the current construction progress status, reasons for variances to the plan, and recommendations for mitigation</li>

<b>Skills / Qualifications </b></p>

<ul>
<li>Technical college diploma or engineering degree or a recognized business program</li>
<li>7+ years experience within project controls, in consulting and/or contracting environment on EPC/EPCM project/s</li>
<li>Strong computer skills and firsthand experience working with project management systems, MS Access & Excel.</li>
<li>Highly effective organization and planning skills</li>
<li>Excellent analytical and communications skills</li>
<li>Proven ability to work well independently, demonstrating initiative and follow-up</li>
<li>Authorization to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood is required</li>
