Senior Project Engineer

<p>&bull; Supervises and coordinates preparation of the project proposal including development and analysis of alternates.<br />
&bull; Ensure that designs meet Saudi Aramco standards and specifications and that alternate designs or changes are economical, operable and meet safety, maintenance and schedule requirements.<br />
&bull; Responsible for compliance to project controls and administration guidelines/procedures including those related to cost control and forecasting, planning and scheduling, contract administration and materials control, during project execution.<br />
&bull; Supervises and coordinates planning to adjust to unanticipated changes in scope, materials and equipment delivery and cost.<br />
&bull; Provides expert advice and assistance to the Unconventional resources, outside vendors, manufacturers, and design firms on matters relating to his area of expertise<br />
&bull; Originates and carries out engineering studies to determine potential Problems and remedies to existing problems resolve complex technical problems, increase revenue, optimize processes, protect the environment, or improve safety.<br />
&bull; Evaluates and introduces best practices and new technologies from all over the world to help the Unconventional resources to achieve Best in Class positions.<br />
&bull; Reviews and evaluates the capabilities of vendors and contractors to determine their acceptability to perform major services to the Unconventional Resources. Acts as the department representative in dealings with vendors and manufacturers pertaining to his field of experience.<br />
&bull; Acts as a professional mentor to less senior specialists and engineers.</p>

<p>Qualifications &amp; Experience</p>

<p>&bull; Bachelor&
39;s degree in Engineering.<br />
&bull; Ten (15) years experience in varied engineering work with emphasis on initial engineering stages.<br />
&bull; Should be familiar with Company procedures, specifications and technical data manuals.<br />
&bull; Must know English. Other languages, including Arabic desirable, but not necessary.<br />
&bull; Incumbent may be required to travel extensively and could be away for extended periods.<br />
&bull; professional experience, including years as an engineer in responsible charge of technical work in his field of specialty. Incumbent will normally achieved industry recognition through activities in professional societies and industrial organizations such as ASME, ASCE, ASTM, API, NACE, SEI and others.</p>
