IT Communication Engineer

<p>Candidate must have experience in the oil and gas industry with technical expertise in telecommunications design engineering such as wired and wireless communication networks, process control networks and security systems among others.<br />
Fully familiar with TETRA and wireless communication systems, PABX, fiber optic and premise distribution networks, data network switches and routers, transmission and multiplexing systems, CCTV, security and access control systems.<br />
Candidate shall be able to check and validate contractor&rsquo;s design drawings as per relevant industry and company standards as well as best engineering practices.<br />
Candidate shall be capable of providing technical guidance and support especially with maintenance and installation works.</p>

<p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience</strong></p>

<p>B.S. Degree in Electronics &amp; Communications or Telecommunications Engineering.<br />
The candidate must have a minimum of 10 years relevant engineering experience with an in-depth knowledge of telecommunications industry standards. The candidate must also have an in-depth knowledge of outside plant and structured cabling, data networks and transmission systems, video surveillance and security systems, paging systems, TETRA and wireless communications.<br />
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.</p>
