You would be supporting the business in the Maputo region in Mozambique Requirements A vacancy has arisen for a Sales Consultant in our Mozambique business (Maputo Region) to ensure the delivery of timely and accurate management reporting for the Mozambique operation, meeting month-end deadlines, quarterly, and year-end reporting. Working with all departments and management to provide ad hoc analysis and provision of financial information Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: This role will be responsible for delivery of the following KPI’s: Deliver timely and accurate management reporting for the Mozambique operations, meeting month-end deadlines, quarterly, and year-end reporting. Responsible for preparation of month-end accruals for Mozambique IDU (Budgeting & Reporting tool) updates of the FY Forecast based on inputs from General Manager (GM) Preparation of month and YTD reporting on Mozambique performance and support to GM with Monthly Performance Review deck preparation Preparation of month to date, YTD and monthly Billing reporting (iCABS) where appropriate: Review and signoff of Sales checklist prior to contracts being loaded on the Billing system ensure compliance with Rentokil Group Portfolio policy Month to date (MTD) Sales Stats tracking Preparation of monthly / YTD State of Service (SOS) reporting Stock management responsibility Ensuring that branches are performing monthly stock count in line with deadlines and Rentokil stock count procedures Preparation of monthly stock count reconciliation for review and sign off by Finance Controller Reporting on monthly preparations (Consumable stock) usage vs budget and forecast; tracking and monitoring of timeous capturing of stock transactions (receipts & issues) on Accounting system (Navision) Preparation of the demand stock forecast for imported stock and participation in the stock forecasting meetings with Procurement and Supply chain manager Supporting the SA Finance Manager with tax and statutory related matters Act as go between SA Finance team and local tax and statutory offices, including site visits if required Act as go between SA Finance team and local bank, including site visits if required Preparation of monthly payroll inputs for submission to the SA Payroll team in line with deadlines and Payroll calendar, based on inputs from business and GM where appropriate Review on monthly Commissions prepared by Branch Administrator for sign off by SA Finance Business Partner Review of Petty cash on a weekly basis and perform independent petty cash count Collation of local input information to Mazars Preparation of assigned Balance Sheet reconciliations Do you have what it takes? If you want to be considered for this role you will need: Minimum of a Bachelor of Commerce degree (reputable University) Minimum of 5-7 years experience in a similar Management Accountant / Financial management role covering all material disciplines in Finance Current knowledge on IFRS, tax legislation, Companies act and other relevant legislation required Proficiency in both written and verbal English language to interact at all levels of the organisation Navision / ERP systems experience essential Multinational work experience beneficial Above average communication written and verbal skills (Fluency in English and Portuguese is essential) Excellent understanding of latest IFRS Accounting policies Keep abreast of new Accounting and Tax policies (local or Group) and legislative changes to identify/minimize negative impact to RI Mozambique Must have the ability to take the initiative and work without supervision Attention to detail and work with a high level of accuracy Ability to think critically Display a high degree of ethics & integrity Valid Drivers Licence Benefits Are you interested?
