Master Data Specialist

Position Summary Responsible for the maintenance and integrity of Quality data, supporting development of Quality reports, and driving continuous improvement in related systems, processes and policies for their area of responsibility. Responsible to create, update and maintain Quality Inspection Plans which enable QA activities in SAP from sampling to recording test results and releasing different product types. Work closely with the Quality COE Business Intelligence Director and Tools & Technology Manager to ensure global alignment of master data, KPIs and reports, where necessary Data Records and Inspection Plans (60%) Responsible to create, update and maintain Quality Inspection Plans Maintain electronic data records in SAP and other relevant systems Ensure master data integrity in systems as well as maintaining the processes to support data quality. Responsible for inventory tracking and special request management Continuous Improvement of Data, Systems and Policies (30%) Support implementation of data strategy, policies, controls, and programs to ensure the Quality data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable Identify areas for data quality improvements and drive resolution of data quality problems Share best practices and collaborate with other Quality Data Managers and Quality CoE Contribute subject matter expertise to support system enhancements Maintain current and update Quality Master Data SOPs, work instructions, manuals, job aids, etc. with other functional or system owners to support ongoing compliance, maintenance and data integrity Quality Dashboards & Reporting (10%) Provide input into global and regional KPIs Provide data to the Quality CoE to support Quality dashboards, ensure continuous alignment with the Quality Business Intelligence Lead and Tools & Technology Lead in the COE Qualifications Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to appropriately communicate information to cross functional stakeholders regarding Master Data and associated processes Good knowledge of QA process flows Demonstrates strong research, analytical and problem solving skills to review QA process requirements and resolve issues that align to ELC QA data standards and rules Excels in working in cross functional environment Excellent knowledge of SAP Good understanding of Master Data Ability to stay current and aware of the latest data integrity requirements and industry digitization trends Demonstrates project management capabilities to manage the workload effectively 4 year degree or equivalent experience Job: Quality Assurance - Supply Chain Primary Location: Americas-CA-ON-Scarborough Job Type: Standard Schedule: Full-time Shift: 1st (Day) Shift Job Number: 2212683 We are an equal opportunity employer.
