S&P Global Commodity Insights The Role: Customer Data Analyst The Location: Pasig City, Philippines/ Gurgaon, India Grade/Level (relevant for internal applicants only): 9 The Team: The objectives of the GM&CX team are to design and deliver an exceptional, differentiated customer experience and identify & communicate drivers of client-centric commercial growth. The team is responsible for global CX strategy design, implementation and enterprise alignment, integrated client feedback analytics (incl. NPS), competitive benchmarking, market share & pricing studies. The scope mandates that each team member independently delivers quick and accurate answers to critical business questions. These are high visibility, high impact experts which work across all geographies, functions, and levels of the organization – from the President of the Commodity Insights to graduate trainees. Customer Data Analyst reports to the Global Head of Growth Marketing & CX. Responsibilities Work with data analysts, internal functions, and external vendors to turn large-scale, diverse, and often unstructured data into meaningful customer insights Lead integration of diverse data systems and datasets to achieve specific project objectives Assist in design and implementation of data management, quality monitoring and cleaning processes Ensure data accuracy Manage data vendor relationships Requirements Experience in data gathering & analysis to identify and assist in solving customer and business problems Strong technical skills to influence strategy through considered, purposeful, and compelling data analysis Expertise in data visualization tools and techniques to best produce customer insights and use them as a force for change Experience in extracting and maintaining data from multiple sources Experience working with diverse teams and managing multiple stakeholders Skills & Qualifications Structured thinking and a rational, inquisitive approach to solving problems using data A natural affinity with numbers and enthusiasm to use numerical ability to spot trends Strong technical skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills, SQL, Python/R, reporting tools (preferably Tableau), and Data warehousing Strong customer focus measured by the timely and accurate production of monthly reports, analysis that addresses the key customer experience issues and solutions Experience in producing ad hoc reports for senior stakeholders Ability to work independently and own work items and deliverables Good communication skills, both verbal and written Excellent time management and organization skills Strong problem-solving skills S&P Global delivers essential intelligence that powers decision making.
