You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant on business affairs. You’ll also help organisations through legislative change and commercial changes such as overseas expansion, as well as providing advice on tax implications of deals.Our team helps our clients improve their tax function to control risk and facilitate better decision making. You’ll focus on helping businesses with tax strategy, ensuring tax compliance, increasing post tax profits, and providing application support to achieve the best corporate tax practices.Experience of delivering UK tax advisory and compliance work to international groups, as well as the kind of skills that a Senior Associate in practice would be expected to display: portfolio management, delegation, day-to-day client handling etc.We are looking for individuals who are experienced in dealing with clients and client teams who operate in a number of territories. You will also be expected to show an awareness of wider business and economic issues generally.<p>The role will predominantly be to support the senior team in servicing existing clients and growing the business.  In addition to becoming involved with existing clients, an enthusiasm to win work and build the business is key.  Projects will be varied and wide ranging, from helping structure global expansion to assisting on transactions and helping our clients secure innovation-based tax reliefs. </p><p>You will receive full support from the Partners, Directors and Senior Managers and from internal technical specialists based in the region and nationally.
