To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Technical Sales Consultant (f/m/d) in the area of digitalisation for the process industry. You will be the technical expert for our customer support in the above-mentioned solution area and support the sales department in the acquisition of new business and the cross-business area acquisition of new potential customers. ProLeiT is a subsidiary of Schneider Electric. Our headquarter is in Herzogenaurach, in the middle of the metropolitan region of Nuremberg-Fürth-Erlangen. We develop and supply automation solutions for the process industry worldwide for global players in the brewing, beverage, food, bakery, dairy, pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical and chemical industries. Our process control systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES) are used in over 2,150 production plants and in more than 110 countries. Life Is On – what about you? Your work field You are responsible for recording technical customer requirements and developing solution concepts in close cooperation with our Technology Centre, the system partners, project department, sales department and the offer department in the area of digitalisation and IIoT. Your tasks include the preparation and implementation of customer presentations in the different project phases, including demonstrations of technical solutions as well as preparation and support of the sales department at information events. Throughout the project phase, you will be the right contact person. The creation of pilot applications for decision-making is also part of your tasks. In addition, you actively support new customer acquisition with a focus on process OEMs system integrators and end customers to increase sales activities. The preparation of market analyses for determination of needs will also be part of your range of tasks. At trade fairs you will be responsible for the stand support. Your profile The ideal candidate has an apprenticeship or a degree in the field of technology, computer science or a comparable environment. Ideally, you have already gained professional experience in a comparable position or in the areas of solutions, applications, project planning or commissioning in process automation (e.g. plant engineering) and have solid knowledge in this area. You have good knowledge in the areas of digitalisation, cyber security, cloud technology, IIoT, asset management or virtualisation. Knowledge of process automation is advantageous. As you will be working in an international environment, very good English language skills are essential. German language skills are not necessary, but a plus.
