What will you do? The Motion and Robotics Business Development Specialist is an expert in solutions selling / applications in the field of motion, controls, and robotics. That person will plan and support the business plan for growth market share. Develop & execute business plan toward Motion and Robotics Provide front pre-sales support for the OEM Sales organization Visit customers together with the sales force or following their requests Introduce and promote the complete Industry Business Architecture offer in terms of strengths and weaknesses and possibilities focusing in Motion Build demos to help the customer visualize the main solution concepts (proof of concept (POC)) Provide expert support: assist/lead the system & architecture definition with the customer and create value by advising the customer on advanced issues (Principles, feasibility, limits & constraints, performance, …) Provide recommendations & support in terms of migration from competition or interconnectivity with the Industry Business Legacy offer Answer technical questions on integration/compatibility of components inside an architecture Develop required technical and commercial argumentation documents Help to close the deal by providing differentiating elements to sales for the commercial argumentation Work closely with SAEs (System & Architecture Experts) and ADEs (Application Design Experts) locally and within the Machine Experts Program in order to provide the customer the best solution Create Success Stories, Best practices and Local to Global, Web Seminar & Newsletter participation & Input What qualifications will make you successful? Min. 5 years of experience in motion, robotics, automation technologies for building, planning, programming, commissioning Technical education and/or engineering degree Good functional knowledge in automation & mechanical engineering (motion / motion control, industrial automation, machine safety and robotics...) Customer focus, listening, communication skills, analytical skills Self-motivated and creative. Effective time management skills Strong business sense and negotiation skills Have the ability to effectively influence, collaborate with sales and technical team Fluent English (verbal, written) Fluent French (verbal)(asset) Detailed knowledge of Schneider Electric portfolio and products (asset) Let us learn about you!
