The Painter is responsible for performing routine shop duties and assists with general operational tasks and upkeep of work area. <br><br>Duties & Responsibilities: <br><ul><li> Clean grease and dirt from product, using materials, such as lacquer thinner, turpentine, soap, and water. </li><li> Perform preparation work prior to painting such as grinding, sanding, applying masking tape over parts and areas that are not to be coated, if necessary. </li><li> Set up and operate machinery to coat products or materials with paint, lacquer, shellac or rust proofing agents. </li><li> Move painted items to drying racks using overhead cranes, forklift, etc. </li><li> Work assignments should always be carried out to the highest quality level. </li><li> Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford. </li><li> Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions. </li><li> Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job. </li></ul> <br><br><b> Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Minimum 1-2 years related experience </li><li> High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. </li><li> General knowledge of painting procedures. </li><li> Good verbal communication skills. </li><li> Individual must be able to follow instructions. </li><li> Should be able to lift maximum 50lbs weight. </li></ul>
