Commissioning Engineer

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently sourcing for a motivated Commissioning Engineer who will be responsible for the development of Commissioning procedures, training material and start-up documents to join our team based at LIP site,Hastings. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of commissioning procedures, training material and start-up documents. As the project moves from the construction phase to commissioning you'll transition to a site based commissioning role. <br><br>Key to success in the role will be the ability to communicate with key stakeholders and work in a multidiscipline team. You will be required to demonstrate a strong technical knowledge of Commissioning activities within the Oil & Gas or Power Generation industry; preferably with gas turbine generator and switchgear expertise. <br><br>The Commissioning Engineer role may vary depending on the specific assignment undertaken but would typically involve the activities below: <br><ul><li> Developing commissioning procedures and input into plans </li><li> Development of or input into training material </li><li> Development of or input into start-up procedures </li><li> Providing Commissioning expertise to the project </li><li> Attend package FATs </li><li> Leading and planning commissioning activities on site </li><li> Lead or participate in site walkdowns and facilitate the handover of project scope to Operations </li><li> Maintain and update the project Completions Management System </li><li> Working to and maintaining the project schedule </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> 5 years minimum experience in the Oil and Gas/Petrochem industry.
