The opportunity: We are seeking talented and energetic candidates to join our Advisory, Management Consulting team as a Full Time Consultant/Senior Consultant working in our Toronto practice starting in Fall (September) 2023. Positions are available in the following service lines: Operations Customer Finance Transformation Enterprise Performance Management Technology, Strategy and Transformation People and Change Supply Chain What you will do Operations The Operations team at KPMG supports clients in the Financial Services sector (Banking, Wealth & Asset Management, Insurance, Private Equity, Pensions), the Public Sector and the Technology, Media and Telecommunication sectors with a range of services: strategic planning, growth & omni-channel strategy, Target Operating Model (TOM) design, process improvement/redesign, cost optimization/value realization and accounting/regulatory change programs. As part of the Operations team, you will help clients perform current situation assessments/diagnostics, visioning/target state design as well as develop roadmaps and support implementation.   Customer The KPMG Customer network has developed some of the best CX and Digital tools, methods and frameworks anywhere. Finance Transformation An effective finance function needs to be aligned to the business strategy and should provide agile financial analysis and insight to support corporate decision making, while also meeting legal and regulatory requirements as a given. With a global network of professionals working in KPMG member firms around the world, Finance Transformation collaborates closely with CFOs and other finance leaders to help maximize the finance function's performance and empower them to become insightful business partners. We focus on a variety of areas surrounding our “Finance of the Future” vision to drive strategy and implementation across finance operations optimization, target operating model redesign, financial technology transformation, and regulatory compliance transformation. Enterprise Performance Management The Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) practice works with finance functions to empower them to become more insightful and true business partners.  We are trusted advisors in budgeting, planning and forecasting, close and consolidation, reporting and analytics with a particular focus on implementing technology solutions to enable these processes. Technology Consulting & Digital Transformation Organizations are challenged both by rapidly shifting business requirements and advances in technology. To deliver business value, firms will need strategic advisors to help them understand how new technology will impact their business and how they can optimize their current tools. Our teams collaborate with the directors of various functions, including technology, information and digital, to define their vision for digital transformation, and develop tailored technology strategies and implementation plan(s) to drive value for our clients We also offer services covering the entire data lifecycle, from developing data strategies to deploying data platforms that generate critical insights and analytics to understand new innovations, ongoing operations, and cost/quality expectations. Senior Consultant are expected to be able to come into the Management Consulting team and immediately make a significant impact. Those coming from undergraduate degrees or master’s degrees with less than 2 years’ work experience should consider applying for the Consultant position. You have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in a relevant field. Candidates graduating between December 2022 and August 2023 should apply. You are a highly motivated individual, enthusiastic about taking on a variety of challenges and opportunities You have strong interpersonal skills and professional maturity; demonstrated ability to effectively interact and build relationships with a diverse group of clients and colleagues You have strong problem solving and analytical abilities, as well as a proven track record of successfully dealing with competing priorities and deadlines under pressure You have an entrepreneurial drive, and are a creative problem solver You have a strong academic record from your undergraduate or master’s degree You are able to support general project management and oversee the planning, scheduling and completion of objectives and engagements, asset development and other initiatives.
