<b>Primary Purpose of Job</b><br />
The Network Infrastructure Senior System Engineer is to design, commission and operate state-of-art network systems/infrastructure for optimal availability, resiliency, and scalability to support ICT business applications and services across the corporation. The Senior Systems Engineer logistically and technically coordinates and works with ICT divisions/units, corporate project managers, and external entities to deliver services, meet projected milestones and meet expected network service uptime and availability.<br />

<b>Education</b><br />
A minimum of a Bachelor degree in Network Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or an equivalent Engineering field.<br />
<br />
<b>Experience &amp; Skills</b><br />
&bull; Possess one of the following certifications: CCNP, CCIP, or CCDP. &bull; Higher level certification such as CCIE in Routing/Switching and/or Service Provider is a plus &bull; Minimum of 10 years of progressive combined technical experience in networking and structured cabling systems, related standards, protocols and at least 7 years professional hands-on experience in design, operation and support of complex service provider network infrastructure systems preferably related to the Oil and Gas industry and standards. &bull; Expert level of technical hands-on experience in implementation and operation of systems related to following technologies: routing, switching, MPLS, WiFi systems. &bull; Strong verbal and communications skills including excellent knowledge of techniques used to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and third party personnel. &bull; Excellent writing skills with the ability to write technical blueprints, high and low level design documents, standards, processes, procedures, manuals, feasibility studies, and tendering proposals. &bull; Strong project management skills including setting up objectives, compiling reports, identifying priorities, selecting right team members and ability to manage multiple tasks and limited resources. &bull; Effective problem solver with strong analytical and methodical thought process skills for the goal of analysing complex technical issues, making sound engineering decisions and executing effective actions. &bull; Demonstrated ability in carrying out tough negotiations and persuasion skills, for successfully carrying out assignment related to assigned projects. &bull; Good experience with compiling annual financial budgets and aligning capital investment with business requirements. &bull; Good knowledge of Information Technology industry, trends, costs and benefits of different technologies, and the principles of effective information architecture. &bull; Ability to interpret, adapt and apply policies, standards, processes, guidelines and procedures. &bull; Demonstrate commitment to quality and continuous improvement.<br />
