Scrum Master

SCRUM MASTER In Johnson & Johnson we are redefining our traditional ERP solution into the latest and greatest S/4 HANA solution supporting our PHARMA business to be ready for the digital reavolution. We are recruiting for the role of Scrum Master to coordinate and mentor our software development team. You will be our go-to person for applying scrum to produce high-quality work while handling timelines, resolving problems and coaching team members on Agile methodologies. Our team is a multifaceted group of technology professionals working from multiple locations. Key Responsibilities: Perform as a Scrum Master as needed for one or more scrum teams Facilitate road mapping, sprint planning sessions, retrospectives, and demos Assist the product owner with backlog refinement Support the triage and resolution of critical issues Ensure cross-team coordination Participate/facilitate scrum of scrums as needed Provide relevant metrics to gauge team progress with a continual focus on improvement Work with other Scrum Masters to define, reinforce and maintain a consistent practice across the organization Prepare and deliver effective communications (both oral and written) regarding progress and status for both internal and client teams Effectively and efficiently track, mitigate/resolve issues, risks and blockers Able to do planning as it relates to helping the team ensure dependencies are known, expectations with downstream teams or owners of those dependencies are aware of needs and solutions/timelines are interlocked to promote velocity and meeting achievements Ability to help teams write user stories/features, identify dependencies, testing, and design optimal solutions Flexibility to work with teams, individuals and executives and the ability to help with a wide variety of work products and people Perform hands-on work, testing, change management, impediment resolution as needed by the team Qualifications Education: We would love to hear from you if you have a degree in Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering other related STEM fields (Economics, Physical Science, Social Science, Engineering and Mathematics) Experience and Skills: Required: 5+ experience in a Scrum Master role Experience using qTest Familiarity with software development Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement) Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban etc.) Excellent communication and servant-leadership skills Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability Outstanding organizational skills Other: Proven track record to meet clients where they are at in terms of Agile transformation and coach them accordingly Ability to work constructively and collaboratively with other authorities and teams, with the ability to adapt and compromise You are open to occasional travel (up to 10%) Scrum master certification is a plus Johnson & Johnson is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
