<div class="mds-edited-text mds-font-body-copy-bulk"><p>Prospectus are excited to be working exclusively with our client to help them recruit for a Senior Philanthropy Officer to join their team. This organisation is the UN Refugee Agency's national partner for the United Kingdom. They help refugees by advocating for their protection and raising funds that help this organisation deliver humanitarian relief to displaced families across the globe. They are apolitical and believe that every person fleeing conflict and persecution has the right to seek protection, regardless of their race, religion, nationality, political affiliation or social group.</p>
<p>Thanks to their UK supporters, our clients teams can deliver humanitarian relief to families left with no one else to turn to. From rushing life-saving aid to civilians fleeing the frontlines of conflict, to ongoing care, such as education and healthcare, for families whose lives may remain in limbo for years.</p>
<p>This role is offered on a permanent full-time basis paying between £33,200 to £36,800 per annum with flexible hybrid working arrangements at their London office.</p>
<p>The post holder will work as a part of the Private Partnerships and Philanthropy team (PPH) to develop new opportunities with trusts and foundations in line with UK4U's fundraising strategy. They will manage their own portfolio of trusts and foundations and play a key role in supporting the Trusts and Foundations Manager on the engagement and stewardship of our high-level partnerships, as well as supporting on the delivery of a high-quality supporter experience. The post holder will work across the team to support on growing the trusts and foundations pipeline, through identifying and then building relationships with trusts and foundations aligned with this organisation's cause.&nbsp;</p>
<p>They are looking for someone with a demonstratable track record of devising and delivering impactful and engaging proposals and communications to generate income and build relationships with Trusts and Foundations/ Major Donors within the UK charity sector. They are looking for a candidate with demonstratable experience in proactively identifying new prospects and fundraising opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience of fundraising at an international development, human rights, or humanitarian NGO in the UK.</p>
