<div class="mds-edited-text mds-font-body-copy-bulk"><p>Group Financial Controller - 6 months contract (initially) - 4 days based in the office in North West London<br /> <br />Charity People are working in partnership with a £15 million turnover charity based in North West London.<br /> <br />If you are an experienced Head of Finance looking for their next long term contract role, then this would be a great opportunity for you.<br /> <br />Due to the nature of the work they do and due to this role being a leadership role, this role will be 4 days office based and working from home <br /> <br />Candidates applying for this role should be available to start immediately (early August 2022) and you must have strong Charity / NFP experience. The salary being offered is circa £64,000 per annum. <br /> <br />Within this varied role you will be responsible for:<br />* Strategic leadership input<br />* Provide regular financial information and advice to the Board and SMT <br />* Ensure appropriate risk management techniques and financial controls re in place <br />* Hands on Finance role - preparation of management accounts, statutory accounts, dealing with auditors and line managing two members of staff <br />* Other duties and responsibilities <br /> <br />If you have the following skills and experience, we would love to hear from you:<br />* Fully qualified CCAB recognised qualifications (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) <br />* Strong Charity / NFP experience - knowledge of Charity SORP is essential <br />* Strong leadership skills and excellent interpersonal skills <br />* Solid accounting experience, risk, governance and dealing with Trustees and SMT<br /> <br />This role will be closing on 1st August, 2022 and the client is looking to interview mid next week - w/c 1st August, 2022.<br /> <br />If you are available immediately and have the required experience, please apply immediately with a copy of your CV. <br /> <br />Charity People actively promotes equality, diversity, and inclusion.
