Procurement Specialist – Indirect Procurement, Global Delivery Center In this role you will… Execute sourcing strategies for indirect spend categories in scope of responsibility aligned with the requirements of stakeholders and business partners with cooperation with Global Categories and Local Procurement teams. Deliver benefits identified in strategies, local, regional and global, through effective and collaborative strategy execution, aligned to assurance of supply (risk management), quality, service, cost and innovation. Ensure GSK’s Procurement policies, procedures, processes, systems and methodologies are utilized in a compliant manner in the area of responsibility. Support category leads in the creation and delivery of effective savings targets other set KPIs agreed with key stakeholders and Finance in accordance with the agreed Savings Methodology. Collaborate with key stakeholders to deploy strategies globally/regionally, facilitated by robust implementation and transition plans. Cooperation with a wide range of senior leaders across business areas and with suppliers. Understand and efficiently navigate organizational complexity to deliver set goals. The Global Delivery Centre (the GDC) provides the critical Source to Contract capability for GSK. Leading the delivery of a high volume of sourcing projects globally, the centre acts as the operational engine of the procurement organisation. As such, the GDC plays a critical role in delivering both the in-year savings and the functions long term operating model. Why you? Qualifications & Skills: Degree level eg. MA, MBA, CIPS or international equivalent. Minimum of 4 years of relevant procurement expertise for delivering multi-country, high spend complex engagements. Full proficiency in English and other European languages (French, or Portuguese, or Spanish, or German, or Italian) Proven experience in commercial and contract negotiations, strategic sourcing, Indirect category management, cost model synthesis and supplier relationship management Ability in navigating through organizational complexity, collaborating simultaneously with multiple teams, Influencing and problem solving skills Ability to understand and utilize complex business processes in all GSK supplier transactions, including all risk/regulatory/compliance Strong experience in using tools like Ariba or other equivalent sourcing execution technology Why GSK?
