Senior Accounting Manager Commercial Accounting and Credit Management Europe & Australia

POSITION SUMMARY This position deals with a high degree of complexity in a fast pace environment; coupled with high growth. This position manages a team of 11 accounting department within Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia (TSM) in which 3 of them are direct reports. In this position, he/she will lead process improvement, policy and internal control implementation and ensure accurate and timely submission of results and reports. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Lead a team of 11 finance professionals including shop backend operations and internal control. Review and perform analytical review of monthly management, legal and statutory reports Reconciliation between SAP and BW (Internal data warehouse) on monthly financial reports Perform analytical review of financial results and understand factors driving variances. Prepare internal financial reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, including footnote and financial table preparation in US GAAP. Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers and company secretary Provide financial inputs and effectively collaborate with other departments to find achieve best solution/process on company operational issues/matters Provide accounting support to the regional Singapore office for management reporting purpose Monthly forecast, planning & Project Management Assist regional to oversee Information System, SAP & Accounting management system Work with shared service accounting teams in India and China to complete the month/year end closing Ad hoc feasibility studies and analysis MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor of Accounting Degree / CPA Qualified 8 years of Accounting & Finance Experience with a multinational / Large FMCG Company 5 years’ experience in people management and leading a team PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge in US GAAP and SAP experience is compulsory Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) Strong interpersonal skills to ensure effective cross-functional teamwork. Strong communication and presentation skills; able to clearly articulate ideas/thoughts. Able to work independently, with high level of integrity and sense of responsibility Great attitude, pro-active and mature, self-motivated. Fast learner, able to learn quickly in a fast pace environment. Strong people management and able to manage change within the team. Resourceful with a positive attitude, thrive on challenges and driven to develop solutions. Strong execution and analytical skills with a good eye for detail.
