FINANCIAL ANALYST

The Role: Financial Analyst The Grade/Level: (relevant for internal applicants only) 8 Location: Bogotá, Colombia Responsible for registering, analyzing, preparing financial reports, and reviewing transactions to carry out consistent company procedures. Responsibilities: - Prepare and record journal entries according to Colombian accounting standards (NCIF) Vendor Invoices (accounts payable) Depreciations (calculation and accounting record) Amortizations (calculation and accounting record) Payments (suppliers, payroll, social security, taxes, etc.) Payroll records (payroll, social security, payroll taxes, labor accruals) Taxes (self income tax withheld, industry & trade tax) - National and district tax returns, preparation of working papers and tax returns Monthly Income tax withheld return VAT return Industry and trade tax return Industry and trade tax withheld return - Handle the local electronic billing processing system - Annual national exogenous information (National magnetic media) - Annual district exogenous information (Bogotá magnetic media) - Request withholding tax certificates (income tax w/h, VAT w/h and industry & trade tax w/h) - Issuing income tax withholdings and industry and trade tax withholdings certificates - Develop bank, billing, AR, payroll, fixed assets, intangible assets, prepaid expense, AP, and intercompany reconciliations - Travel expense control - Statutory books (General Ledger and Balance Sheet, Daily Book, Inventory and Balance Sheets Book) - Knowledge in conversion package of mandatory and optional notes to XBRL (Financial Superintendence of Colombia report) - Provide support to external auditors as well as regulatory and tax authorities What We're Looking For: Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 3+ years’ work experience in Financial Accounting Excellent written and oral communication skills Demonstrated investigative research and analytical capabilities Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, specifically in Excel Proficient in the use of accounting applications SIIGO and Helisa Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines Bilingual (English/Spanish) desirable Please apply with your English CV.
