The main function of the certified Electrician will be to assist the maintenance supervisor in all activities related to the building maintenance, prevention, documentation and maintenance of both the equipment and systems. This position will be responsible for...….. Assist the supervisor in all activities related to maintenance, prevention, servicing and documentation of both the equipment and systems; Perform electrical and networks installations for the building; Perform preventive / predictive maintenance of systems and / or machinery on time and in a rigorous manner; Identify, study and diagnose breakdowns, irregularities and failures; Validate that the subcontractors comply with standards and different codes or regulations; Validate that the additions and modifications to the installations comply with the various codes or regulations; Communicate with external suppliers; Respond to operations maintenance calls as soon as possible; Support the effort of continuous improvement; Maintain an efficient, clean and safe working environment with regard to the standards of the client of Fedex Supply Chain and of the CNESST; Complete various monitoring and control reports as required; Perform all other tasks and responsibilities assigned by management. Education/Experience Probation period successfully completed at Fedex Supply Chain; Excellent employee record including performance and health & safety in their current position (no disciplinary measures whatsoever and no problem of absenteeism); D.E.P. in electricity; Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in industrial maintenance; Skill cards ‘’ C ’’; Bilingualism Oral and written; Knowledge of fire protection equipment; Knowledge of installation and maintenance in an industrial environment; Knowledge of electrical distribution and industrial electronics; Knowledge of the WHMIS program (hazardous materials management); Ability to work with maintenance management software; Ability to problem solve and analytical skills; Ability to work standing for long periods; Very good sense of organization and priorities; Ability to maintain harmonious relationships with co-workers; Rigorous and results-oriented; Great sense of customer service; Detail oriented ; Warehouse environment. May be exposed to variable temperature conditions; May be asked to work shifts (day or evening); Must be able to work at heights (15 meters).
