Treasury Analyst

The Role General Mills is seeking a Treasury Analyst based out of our Nyon, Switzerland headquarters to be part of our Global Treasury organization and a member of the Regional Corporate Finance team. The Analyst will be responsible for supporting a variety of Treasury Operations processes, Banking Relationships & act as a Treasury Subject Matter Expert on inter-disciplinary projects for the European & Middle Eastern region. As part of the General Mills Finance team, you will have the opportunity to lead and influence the business of one of the world’s most recognized FMCG companies, while working with some of the world’s most popular brands. You will gain functional experience in conducting Treasury processes, expertise with financial systems including SAP & 360T, as well as broader knowledge of corporate finance. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Treasury Process Ownership – Cash Management & FX Act as Treasury Business Partner Manage liquidity & investments for the European & Middle Eastern region Support monthly and weekly FX hedging programs Evaluate and propose solutions/improvements to further mitigate FX risk Support month-end and quarter-end close processes Review and initiate payments Cash Infrastructure & Bank Relationship Management Work closely with banks on cash management services topics Manage Know Your Customer requests from banking partners Evaluate services and recommend changes/improvements to the cash management processes Open and close bank accounts when required Cross Functional Responsibilities Partner with global and regional teams in the US, Asia and Latin America on topics such as dividends, financing, capital increase/decrease and M&A activities Partner with Accounting, Sourcing and Supply Chain teams on regional initiatives Ensure strong controls and system integrity: Comply with internal controls, policies, and procedures Investigate any attempted fraud Remediate payment issues Respond to internal and external audit requests QUALIFICATIONS University Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field 1-3 years experience in Treasury, Finance or Accounting Sound understanding of corporate finance and banking products Strong analytical skills and proven record of data analysis using tools such as SAP, Power BI, Tableau and Microsoft Excel Previous experience with Treasury Management systems, such as SAP Treasury module, will be considered as an advantage Strong written and oral communication skills Self-motivated and quick learner Detail-oriented with ability to prioritize in alignment with business goals Team player, able to collaborate in a dynamic environment with colleagues from diverse backgrounds in multiple time zones Fluency in English COMPANY OVERVIEW We exist to make food the world loves.
