We are looking for an Applications Engineer in Eaton’s Electrical Business, based in Mascot, Melbourne, or Brisbane. This role will be working with the sales team to select & engineer products & solutions to build client proposals for the Power Quality systems business. The key responsibilities will include: Prepare written proposals for submission to the customer. An eye for detail and accuracy with numbers are also primary. Work with the sales team, end-users and consultants to understand the customer’s needs. Develop technical & commercial solutions based on customer requirements using Eaton and selected third-party products Build relationships with consultants, key customers, and the sales team. Using initiative and possessing a positive attitude towards teamwork is critical Create mechanical and electrical drawings to support project submission. Deliver presentations on Eaton's solutions to external and internal stakeholders. Provide input for new product development and champion innovation initiatives. Ability and willingness to learn and apply new technology trends and solutions as required Qualifications If you have/are: Degree in Electrical Engineering Electrical Engineering Experience required Technical experience with knowledge of critical power products and systems The ability to understand software solutions is preferable >3 years’ experience in commercial, Bid Engineering Computer Literacy is essential, particularly with M/S Outlook, Word, and Excel.
