Wood is currently recruiting for a Scheduling Lead to join our team based from the client&
39;s Metropolitan Melbourne facilities. This is a lead role, required to supervise a team and provide scheduling subject matter expertise.<br />
<br />
<b>Responsibilities </b></p>
<p> </p>
<ul>
<li>Leads a high performing scheduling team on a major project</li>
<li>Maintain thorough understanding of company policies, procedures, and methodologies relevant to Planning / Scheduling discipline</li>
<li>Develop thorough understanding of the contract, scope of work, estimate and procurement / contracting plan for assigned projects</li>
<li>Facilitate early planning sessions with project teams and clients</li>
<li>Participate in development of project coding structures including relating of schedule activities to cost coding structures</li>

<b>Skills / Qualifications </b></p>
</p>

<ul>
<li>Relevant tertiary qualification</li>
<li>Experience of undertaking schedule development and monitoring on large scale oil and gas/petrochemical projects</li>
<li>Experience of schedule development in brownfield and greenfield environments</li>
<li>Ability to undertake all schedule development methodologies from conceptual to first principles</li>
<li>Ability to work independently</li>
<li>Excellent team management skills in a challenging work environment</li>
<li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential</li>
<li>Ability to build and sustain customer relationships</li>
<li>Must convey a professional image with customers</li>
<li>Demonstrated effective presentation, verbal, and written communication skills</li>
</ul>
