Project Engineer - BMS

Overview of the role Designs, plans, and handles testing, commissioning, programming and supervision on site for Schneider Building Management System based on project plan, specifications, and contract documents. Key Responsibilities Prepares submittals containing I/O points, control schematics, sequence of operation and technical literature as required. Implementing BMS technical solutions for client projects using Schneider Electric’s BMS platform. Supervising site installation works and coordinate with contractor/customer. Programming and onsite commissioning of the BMS to ensure full operation as per functional description and specification, including fault finding and problem-solving on technical issues as they arise. Integrating systems such as Lighting control, Access control, CCTV, Energy meters, etc. via BACnet, LON, Modbus, M-Bus, KNX and Smart connectors. Identify opportunities for project and energy-saving initiatives and liaise with the Project Manager for pricing recommended works. Be a part of site EHS inspections, hazard/risk assessments and recommend mitigation measures. Researching, evaluating, and recommending new products or equipment upgrades that will meet customer needs. Developing on-going relationships with customers to secure future business. Provide on-site training to customer Experience Level Minimum 5 years experience in BMS Job Requirements BSc/BEng in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electronics Robust knowledge of BMS controls and HVAC with preferably some knowledge of Security and CCTV Strong knowledge of industry standard protocols such as BACnet, LON, Modbus, M-Bus, KNX, etc. Clear understanding of integration of Building Systems Protocols and IP Infrastructure Must be proactive and be able to work under own initiative Be client-focused and have the ability to generate your own work. Previous Schneider BMS experience is preferable Valid GCC driving license Good communication skills and ability to work both autonomously and as a member of a team.
