<p>Charity People are delighted to be partnering with a national charity that brings people together to create, improve and care for green spaces. From local parks and community gardens to Local Nature Reserves and Sites of Special Scientific Interest; from school grounds and hospital grounds to waterways, wetlands and woodlands; they connect people to the green spaces that form a vital part of any healthy, happy community.</p>
<p>Their team of dedicated, passionate staff and volunteers work with communities across England, Northern Ireland and Scotland and, through their Community Network, they support local community groups across the UK.</p>
<p>This is a unique opportunity to become the first ever Learning and Organisational Development Manager following a period of change, reflection and growth for this amazing charity.</p>

<p>This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for the right person to work within a small team of professionals to shape and deliver on key elements of the People agenda so if you have experience of embedding Values, enhancing the competency frameworks, Leadership Development, Performance, and Engagement we would like to hear from you.</p>
<p>As Learning and Organisation Development Manager, you will also be responsible for overseeing mandatory L&D offer, whilst contributing to the design and delivery of organisational development and learning projects. You will ensure their people are skilled and equipped to maximise on their performance, whilst ensuring focus is placed on the right initiatives and programmes to support organisational effectiveness.</p>
<p><b>Salary: £34,000 - £40,000 per annum FTE</b></p>
<p><b>Based: Doncaster, hybrid working, with 1 day per week in office, flexible working </b></p>
<p><b>Permanent role; open to flexible proposals such as compressed hours, reduced hours, job share</b></p>
<p><b>Full time 35 hours, part time 28 hours per week</b></p>
<p><b>About the role:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Identifying and implementing a plan to ensure skills meet and deliver the current strategy Supporting leaders in the development of their teams and supporting leaders with how to have effective performance conversations Providing training and support to enable the successful embedding of the Values, behavioural framework and APDR process Supporting the employment journey of apprentices and trainees, maximising utilisation of the levy Support the head of people contributing to the strategic design of Leadership Development, Talent and Succession To provide expert coaching and advice on L&OD interventions at the individual/team/organisational level Designing and delivering blended training solutions to meet learning needs, aligned to the needs of the charity, engaging with third parties where necessary Identify and develop training champions in their area of expert knowledge to deliver key training courses</li>

<p><b>About the person:</b></p>
<p>You’re qualified to relevant Level 7, Masters professional qualification or equivalent experience</p>
<p>Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (‘CIPD’).</p>
<p>You have significant experience of supporting values led process, coaching, mentoring,</p>
<p>and ability to design learning programmes for all levels with a successful track record of designing and delivering learning interventions.</p>
