<p style=''margin: 0in;''><span style=''font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: calibri, sans-serif; color: black;''>Energy Resourcing is looking for Hydraulic Engineer for our client in Calgary, AB to support the various business groups by providing fluid hydraulics expertise in the design, construction, and operation of all pipeline and pump stations.  </span></p>

<p style=''margin: 0in;''><strong>Responsibilities</strong>:</p>

<ul>
<li style=''color: black;''><span style=''font-size: 10pt; font-family: calibri, sans-serif;''>Provide technical support to the Pipeline Commercial, Projects, and Operations groups</span></li>
<li style=''color: black;''><span style=''font-size: 10pt; font-family: calibri, sans-serif;''>Liaise with support systems personnel involved with day-to-day system operations and maintenance</span></li>
<li style=''color: black;''><span style=''font-size: 10pt; font-family: calibri, sans-serif;''>Develop and maintain comprehensive hydraulic models of all pipeline systems, conducting steady-state and transient pipeline hydraulic analyses, incremental volume analysis and other special studies as needed </span></li>
<li style=''color: black;''><span style=''font-size: 10pt; font-family: calibri, sans-serif;''>Generate reports and/or summaries for completed hydraulic analyses</span></li>
<li style=''color: black;''><span style=''font-size: 10pt; font-family: calibri, sans-serif;''>Prepare and publish short and long-term system expansion plans and feasibility studies including investigation of planned alternatives</span></li>
<li style=''color: black;''><span style=''font-size: 10pt; font-family: calibri, sans-serif;''>Develop and maintain equipment model databases in Synergi Pipeline Simulator (SPS)</span></li>
<li style=''color: black;''><span style=''font-size: 10pt; font-family: calibri, sans-serif;''>Review 3rd party hydraulics work</span></li>
<li style=''color: black;''><span style=''font-size: 10pt; font-family: calibri, sans-serif;''>Assist in capital growth projects</span></li>
<li style=''color: black;''><span style=''font-size: 10pt; font-family: calibri, sans-serif;''>Coordinate the development and maintenance of software programs used in analysis and studies </span></li>
<li style=''color: black;''><span style=''font-size: 10pt; font-family: calibri, sans-serif;''>Review and approve work completed by others</span></li>
<li style=''color: black;''><span style=''font-size: 10pt; font-family: calibri, sans-serif;''>Assist in the optimization of existing pipeline assets to increase flow</span></li>
<li style=''color: black;''><span style=''font-size: 10pt; font-family: calibri, sans-serif;''>Provide guidance to Pipeline Integrity for pressure restrictions during integrity activities such as purges and digs</span></li>
<li style=''color: black;''><span style=''font-size: 10pt; font-family: calibri, sans-serif;''>Coordinate, review and implement Management of Change (MOC) initiatives</span></li>

<p><strong>Skills / Qualifications</strong></p>

<ul>
<li><span style=''font-size: 10.5pt; border: 1pt none windowtext; padding: 0in; font-family: calibri, sans-serif;''>5+ years experience as a Hydraulic Engineer required</span></li>
<li><span style=''font-size: 10.5pt; border: 1pt none windowtext; padding: 0in; font-family: calibri, sans-serif;''>Pipeline industry experience is required</span></li>
<li><span style=''font-size: 10.5pt; border: 1pt none windowtext; padding: 0in; font-family: calibri, sans-serif;''>2+ years of pipeline hydraulic modelling experience</span></li>
<li><span style=''font-size: 10.5pt; border: 1pt none windowtext; padding: 0in; font-family: calibri, sans-serif;''>Experience using computer programming code such as VBA and Python</span></li>
<li style=''margin-right: 36.9pt;''><span style=''font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: calibri, sans-serif;''>Advanced skills in Synergi Pipeline Simulator (SPS) hydraulic modelling software are required</span></li>
<li style=''margin-right: 36.9pt;''><span style=''font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: calibri, sans-serif;''>Strong working knowledge of applicable engineering principles, regulations and industry standards</span></li>
<li style=''margin-right: 36.9pt;''><span style=''font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: calibri, sans-serif;''>Knowledgeable in current operating standards, codes, rules and regulations that relate to pipeline operations</span></li>
<li style=''margin-right: 36.9pt;''><span style=''font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: calibri, sans-serif;''>Strong organization, communication and interpersonal skills</span></li>
<li><span style=''font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: calibri, sans-serif;''>Engineering degree, preferably in chemical or mechanical</span></li>
<li><span style=''font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: calibri, sans-serif;''>Professional Engineer, APEGA registered</span></li>
