The Head teacher is keen to meet with a Teaching Assistant who is energetic, athletic and able to commit to a full academic year providing continuous support to this pupil.</p><p>You will be working full time with a pupil in Year 1 who is autistic, the pupil is very active, achieving well and is working both in and out of class.</p><p>If you are keen to gain some invaluable SEN experience this would be the place, having an excellent established team to support and work alongside as well as, having a number of training opportunities to extend your SEN Knowledge throughout your time at this School.</p><p>You must be an amiable and confident Teaching Assistant to really hit the ground running, being energetic and consistent with your support, Displaying enthusiasm and confident to provide 1:1 support.</p><p>Due to this position being immediate the Head teacher is keen to only consider Teaching Assistants with SEN experience - This can be on a voluntary or paid basis.</p><p>This is a lovely one form entry London Primary School who is team driven and all Staff and pupils are fully supported and valued.</p><p>The Head teacher will be looking to meet those Teaching Assistants particularly who are empathetic and adaptable; you must be genuinely passionate to work within a Primary setting in Key stage 1 and on a 1:1 basis with pupils with SEN.</p><p>The School have a large established team of Graduate Teaching Assistants who are all supportive of each other and ensure that children make good progress; this is a great opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is keen to pursue a career in Primary Teaching or as an educational psychologist.</p><p>As the successful Teaching Assistant not only will you gain experience of supporting on a 1:1 basis both in and out of class you will have the opportunity to take part in any extracurricular activities. Sports clubs and Art, Drama and Music workshops are all currently running but the School are always encouraging additional sessions and will allow you to plan and deliver these sessions.</p><p>The School look to have the right individuals join immediately and commit through to the end of the academic year with the opportunity to apply to their schools direct or apply for your PGCE.This role will give any future teacher a huge advantage gaining some invaluable classroom and SEN experience.</p><p>You must be punctual, enthusiastic and able to show initiative.
