Tyrone</strong><br /><strong>Hours: Part-time 21 hours per week (Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays 9am to 5pm)</strong><br /><strong>Contract type: Permanent (Job share)</strong><br /><strong>Salary: £18,626 per annum pro rata (£11,175</strong><strong> per annum at 21hrs per week)</strong><br /><strong><em>Could you be the first point of contact for our Mobility Aids Service and make a difference to people's lives?</em></strong></p>We are currently recruiting a Service Support Assistant to join our Mobility Aids Service (MAS) based in our Omagh office. We're looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate, people-focussed individual to be part of our friendly team and to play an important role in helping people to maintain their independence.</p>You'll provide administrative and operational support to the Mobility Aids Service, this may include taking calls, processing invoices, and operating across different systems. The aim of our service it to provide a range of standard wheelchairs and mobility equipment to people who need them within the local community.</p>You will work alongside our existing volunteers and staff to provide outstanding customer service when interacting with service users in person, on the phone, and online. You will also carry out a range of administrative duties, ensuring that the delivery service, stock control systems and other administrative systems meet the needs of the service and maintain smooth and efficient operations.</p>The work you will do will be crucial to the organisation, and therefore vital to the lives of those in crisis.</p><strong>We use kindness to help those in crisis...</strong></p>The British Red Cross Mobility Aids Service are committed to ensuring that during a period of personal crisis everyone has access to the equipment they need, whoever and wherever they are.<br /> <br /> We offer loans of wheelchairs and other mobility items, as well as training on how to properly use them. As such, we give people the ability to continue living independently without the need for outside help, whilst also easing people's transition to living at home again following a hospital stay.</p><strong>This role might be for you if...</strong><br /> <br /><ul>You're IT Literate, you know your way around Microsoft Office and have the ability to learn and work with an online stock management system.</li>You're a 'people person', you've got good teamwork, communication and customer service skills</li>You'd be confident dealing with queries from customers, hospitals and referring agencies in a positive and professional manner. </li>You're cool, calm, and collected.
