<div class="mds-edited-text mds-font-body-copy-bulk"><p>Prospectus are proud to be partnering with our client to recruit their new Team Leader for their Witness Service currently being delivered across 4 courts in Cambridge and Norfolk, providing tailored support to a variety of witnesses. This position is offered as a Fixed Term Contract until March 2023, with the possibility of extension subject to funding.</p>
<p>As Team Leader you will oversee the delivery of the Witness Service across 4 courts (King's Lynn Magistrate & Crown court and Cambridge Magistrate & Crown Court), overseeing and supporting a team of volunteers, providing support to witnesses inside the courts. You will have responsibility for the delivery of the service across the 3 locations, ensuring that all witnesses receive a high quality, tailored support service You will develop and maintain key local stakeholder relationships with a view to enhancing partnership working, service delivery standards and Effectiveness.</p>
<p>To apply for this role you must skilled communicator, with previous experience of overseeing staff (either in a paid or a voluntary capacity). You will previous experience of building and developing effective and beneficial working relationships with external and internal stakeholders and will be confident working independently without direct supervision, demonstrating the ability to prioritise own workload including appropriate decision making. An understanding of the criminal justice system, specifically the journey of a witness through the court process, would be desirable. Overall, you will be a strong, positive, enthusiastic leader, passionate about ensuring high quality services for vulnerable people.</p>

<p>Please note this is a full-time position Monday-Friday and will be based at a court in either Norfolk or Cambridge, whichever is closest to the appointed candidates home address. Travel 2-3 times a month will be required to the opposite region (either Norfolk or Cambridge); travel will be expensed from their base court.</p>
