ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: List the essential functions (i.e. key responsibilities with expected end results), which must be accomplished in order to fulfill the purpose of your position as described above: Manage set product line to meet business unit revenue & margin objectives Develop strategies to gain entry into new markets and to grow market share in existing markets. Coordinates marketing campaigns and promotions for the product portfolio Plan and execute the new product introduction and product life cycle management activities (including End of Life product phase in/ out) Develop and promote solution offering in the modular/ pre-fabricated solutions in Data Centre and BESS Industry Prepare and provide high quality and detailed reports / presentations i.e. monthly reports, customer visit trip reports, product line gaps/ issues/ resolutions, strategic planning when required/ requested. Work with Sales, Supply Chain management and overseas factories to assist in monthly product and stock forecasting activities as well as product line performance reporting Build close relationships with APAC & Global internal stakeholders (product line managers, buying team, R&D teams) be up to date with the market trends and new technologies Manage the product customisation with the factory and R & D teams Control the inventory to ensure there is satisfactory stock level for the sales demand whilst keeping stock turns to plan. Produce and maintains price lists, pricing tools and product marketing material. Review and adjust the product positioning and pricing as required, so that the business remains competitive and profitable. Train the sales team, sales support team and new employees to effectively select and offer the correct products for various applications and promote key elements of the value proposition to maximise product growth and profit. Provide technical support to the sales teams, sales support, Bid Team and customers. Advises sales staff and customers on product selection and application. Assists sales team and sales operations in tender responses and customer/ consultant meetings. Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) preferred. Minimum Electrical/ Electronic qualification >5 years of Product Management Experience (technical and commercial) , experience with electronics products preferable. Must be experienced in: Competitive benchmarking of features and price, new product requirement definition, business plan development, value proposition development, new product launch, developing sales collateral, sales training, and business development. Must also be experienced with customer meetings and presentations. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCad and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
