Sales Solutions Analyst-Senior

Position Summary: THE ROLE: The Sales Development team within FedEx Express Sales Solutions is passionate about finding innovative solutions to growing and retaining Sales revenue. You will work directly with the business and play a critical role in delivering data-driven analysis, recommendations and solutions on acquiring, developing and retaining customers through both strategic and tactical initiatives. You will be leading cross-functional teams consisting of members from Sales, Marketing and IT to drive continuous improvement in processes, tools and organization. As a member of the Sales Development team, you will blend extensive Sales operations, analytics, and process design expertise with a passion for influencing and collaborating with others. In an agile structure you will partner with Sales leaders and other functions to both advise and execute improvements with direct impact on top-line revenue growth. You should showcase strong analytical curiosity, critical thinking skills, a strength in sourcing, synthesizing and converting data into consumable insights and recommendations. The ideal candidate will have a background in business development, data analytics (incl. AI/ML, Tableau), process design & transformation and project management. Sales Operations & Marketing knowledge is a plus. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the gathering, analysis, and interpretation of data. Analyze sales data to identify trends (i.e. regionally, by product, by account, by market, or by segment) Analyze, define, improve and transform Sales processes with state of the art methodologies such as Design Thinking, Lean Management etc. Leads cross-functional teams & projects consisting of members from Sales, Marketing and IT to drive continuous improvement in processes, tools and organization Prepare reports and presentations for all levels of the department Develop productive working relationships with all Sales Managers, Directors and Executives as well as peers and other colleagues within the department and cross-departmentally. Derives data driven recommendations and provides decision support to Sales and business leadership through analysis and tracking of New Business sales performance. Performs other duties as required. Problem breakdown, including issue/option/resolution framing Facilitation of end-to-end process mapping sessions that identify issues Proven track record to provide fundamental business insights from the information that is not obvious to others and leads to beneficial recommendations Experience with design thinking, Lean, and Re-Design methodologies a plus!
