EOI - Senior Draftsman

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently bidding for a major oil and gas project with one of ADNOC group of companies which is expected to be awarded soon. If successful, we would be looking to hire a Senior Draftsman - Various disciplines to join our PMC team in Abu Dhabi. Below are some key responsibilities and duties; <br><br><b> Please note that at this stage, applications for this role are invited as an Expression of Interest (EOI) whilst opportunities are being fully determined. </b><br><ul><li> Assist the senior designer in design activities by timely developing the drawings as per project and company quality standards </li><li> Ability to develop Bills of Materials </li><li> Ensures effective communications among other engineering disciplines and project management </li><li> Coordinate within members of discipline, other engineering disciplines within the organization or project team as well as with Clients, third parties, vendors etc </li><li> Takes personal responsibility for safety and a healthy environment on the projects </li><li> Should be able to add value plus / optimization ideas </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Minimum of 7yrs of experience in Oil & Gas </li><li> Diploma or Degree in engineering </li><li> In-depth knowledge of design tools </li><li> Ability to organize and set priorities </li><li> Ability to communicate and present effectively </li><li> Ability to report in in English, both verbal and in writing. </li><li> Proactive attitude </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
