You will be part of our Climate Technology Solutions organisation and will work across all technology and business areas within the Baker Hughes organisation. We evaluate new technology and applications within the metals sector, we create business growth and develop new commercial and partnership models to meet evolving customer needs.<br />

<b>Be part of the process from inception to solution</b><br />

As the Global Technical and Commercial Development Leader you will develop and define relationships at all levels across all the product companies within Baker Hughes to decipher where solutions, products and technologies can be applied to the metals sector. You will be shaping solutions and messaging, products and technologies, strategies and sales plans that win profitable business within the Metals Industry across the entire Baker Hughes enterprise. Innovating continuous improvement in sales and building best practices. Setting the short, medium and long-term strategic direction for Baker Hughes across the global metals sector.<br />

<b>As a Global Commercial and Technical Leader you will be responsible for:</b></p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<ul>
<li>Interacting cross functionally across the Baker Hughes group as the Subject Matter Expert for the Metals sector with specific expertise in pyrometallurgy to provide input on the development of our go-to-market structure for metals</li>
<li>Collaborating closely with the Mining Sector Lead to develop solutions and strategies to shape the approach to scaling Baker Hughes across the broader mining and metals sector</li>
<li>Engaging with multiple functions, disciplines, product companies and project teams on a global scale to coordinate and drive growth in the metals sector</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Working in lockstep with the VP of Commercial Development across the entire enterprise of Baker Hughes to identify both organic and inorganic growth opportunities</li>
<li>Building and developing partnerships within the metals sector to grow Baker Hughes footprint</li>
<li>Managing interactions with all significant stakeholders including Customers, Design Companies, EPC&
39;s, R&amp;D, Consultants and Government bodies to facilitate commercial success</li>
<li>Coordinating pilot projects to assist with testing and validation of new technologies and facilitating product and solution launches</li>
<li>Owning the value proposition, providing insight, communication, training and strategic direction to the wider Sales &amp; Commercial organization</li>

<li>Have a degree in metallurgy or chemical engineering</li>
<li>Show a proven track record and expertise in pyrometallurgy across either base metals or steel</li>
<li>Demonstrate ability to assess new technologies, sector mega trends and research areas with experience in R&amp;D, innovation programs or business improvement</li>
<li>Illustrate a commercial and growth mindset with experience in sales or business development</li>
<li>Have agile communication skills to effectively adapt, influence and present to multiple levels of internal and external stakeholders</li>
<li>Demonstrate significant emotional intelligence and understanding of how to operate in a large complex matrixed organisation</li>
<li>Be highly conscientious and confident in own capabilities to challenge the status quo effectively. Be able to cope with high visibility from a range of senior leaders</li>
<li>Demonstrate agility and flexibility - the role will cover a multitude of constantly changing tasks, from operational to strategic requiring a level of comfort operating in ambiguous and a fast-paced environments</li>
<li>Be adept at creating clarity and structure where there it is lacking or non-existent</li>
<li>Be willing to work with stakeholders globally across multiple time zones and travel extensively to meet them</li>
