Specialist Solutions Engineer - Networking & Security - Opportunity for Working Remotely

This Specialist Solutions Engineer role provides a unique opportunity to help Customers transform their Network & Security strategy to drive digitisation & automation. You will be part of the team that helps drive the new wave in the industry to move networking & security into the software stack. You will be helping customers to modernise their networking & security environments, supporting their journey into multi-cloud. Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing? The key to success will be to firstly: To gain knowledge of the products & their positioning Understanding where our solutions & use cases fit into the overall VMware vision Understand how we can help customers move into the multi-cloud world & the unique value they can get from our solutions. After that it will be: Technically validating customer’s networking & security solutions & architecture Performing marketing activities to provide thought leadership in the market, customers and internal teams. Helping the Sales teams accelerate customer opportunities by clearly demonstrating technical & business value of our networking & security solutions which might involve technical presentations to customers, proof of concepts, demonstrations, proof of value & value realisation. The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis? As the Specialist Solutions Engineer for Networking and Security, you will engage with Sales teams to qualify customer opportunities & help accelerate them by technically validating them including providing thought leadership, customer presentations, demonstrations, competitive advantages, proof of value etc. You will also be responsible for enabling customers, partners, internal teams on our Solutions and how they can benefit from them. Additionally, you will be providing Sales opportunity identification workshops in the assigned territories. What is the leadership like for this role?
