Ireland is home to External manufacturing’s global headquarters, the business unit responsible for the management of manufacturing contract operations (CMO’s) and ensuring reliable supply of product to patients across the Bristol Myers Squibb global network. This includes management of, and working in conjunction with, third party contract manufacturers and internal manufacturing sites. In Ireland, External Manufacturing has two sites; Global Headquarters based in Dublin 15 and a distribution centre in Shannon, Co Clare. For more information about Bristol Myers Squibb, visit us at BMS.com/ie The role: Single point of contact, serving as interface between market customer leadership and Global Supply Chain, responsible for management of finished goods supply for assigned markets / customers, reporting directly to Global Supply Chain as part of Market Supply Operations organization. Key duties and responsibilities: Accountable for the finished good supply management in BMS Accountable for continuity of supply from our manufacturing sites to our markets Create and execute finished good supply plans for markets / customers and continually manage and operationally maintain orders. Effectively evaluate, mitigate, and communicate any inventory or supply risks that may impact a market / customer Ensure supply risk management process is executed and communicated to all key stakeholders as per BMS policies and procedures Responsible to lead and execute the market level S&OP process in line with BMS global standards Ensure master data is maintained accordingly through collaboration with Markets / Customers and manufacturing / principal sites Support New Product launches Collaborate with supply sites to ensure demand changes are incorporated into site production Responsible for the effective implementation of regulatory / artwork changes into market / customer supply Monitor and drive improvements on performance metrics and analysis and provide root cause / remediation Representative for market in BMS, SC, and local forums Support GDP activities as defined in relevant procedures Required competencies • ERP Systems • Performance management driving operational performance • End to end supply chain visibility & planning capabilities • Effective networking capabilities Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Required: • 6-8 years of related experience at a reputable, global pharmaceutical, consumer product, or related company • Experience in manufacturing and supply chain • Strongly Preferred: Good understanding and exposure to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Good Distribution Practices (GDP) • Expert knowledge of ERP, ideally SAP and SAP BW reporting, and related supply chain planning and data analysis tools • Excellent analytical, organizational, critical thinking and problem solving skills • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills • Knowledge of compliance procedures (regulatory/ financial /EHS) • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and an understanding of the global practices where business is conducted Travel requirements 10 - 30% minimum What’s important to us Employees are expected to display the BMS Values, which move us toward our mission to discover, develop and deliver innovative medicines that help patients prevail over serious diseases: Passion: Our dedication to learning and excellence helps us to deliver exceptional results.
