As a QA your focus will be on test preparation and test execution using the following tech stack: Jira, Confluence, TestLink, Google Search Console / Google Lighthouse, SiteCore CMS, WordPress CMS, Postman, JMeter, Zeplin, Applitools, PaperTrail, Pingdom, and a couple of home-grown technologies. Your team is international, our official language is English, and we work according to Scrum and agile principles. Responsibilities Your responsibility as a Web QA engineer is to ensure the quality of public-facing SolarWinds’ websites, portals, and internal services. Your work will begin by discussing a new feature request and analyzing its requirements. Then you will design and document a test to cover that feature. Once the feature is implemented, you will execute the tests, log bugs found (Jira), and work with developers on getting them fixed. You will have a shared responsibility with your other QA engineers for testing the releases, managing the regression test suite, and providing accurate information on release quality to your team and the management. Qualifications MSc or BSc in Marketing, Management, Software Engineering or equivalent work experience. We want you to have work experience testing Web Sites or Web Applications (particularly manual test execution and test design) knowledge of testing principles be able to design a test for a given feature/requirement feel confident while communicating in English We will appreciate (but not require) if you have the following experience understand web concepts such as: SEO, Web Analytics, Web UX and Web Technologies (API’s, Front End vs Back End, how browsers work) working in Agile Teams, comprised of cross-functional roles, capable of delivering solutions as a group, test analysis and test management,
