The opportunity: Our Microsoft Practice is looking for Data Engineers who are passionate about their work and love a challenge! What you will do Lead the planning, design, development and deployment of enterprise data solutions and services on Microsoft Azure platform. Design, develop, adapt and maintain data warehouse architecture and relational databases that support data mining. Perform solution shaping and data architecture, including estimation, solution planning and SOW creation to meet customer requirements and outcome. Support pre-sales efforts by providing product, technical, and business expertise for proposals, customer presentations and/or tailored software demonstrations. Coach and mentor a young and talented delivery team, proving them with leadership, knowledge, support, and experience. Act as SME and advisor for our clients. Stay up to date with new products, technologies and trends on the market. What you bring to the role 12+ years of proven experience in IT consulting environment or equivalent. 5+ years of proven experience with data architecture and data engineering. Experience with data platform architecture, deployment and data migration on the Microsoft Azure platform. Experience with Cloud Architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications. Proven in depth experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data lake, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL DW and Microsoft SQL. Experience in creating BI visualizations, dashboards and reports using Power BI. Strong foundational understanding of Microsoft Azure platform IaaS (compute, storage, networking, etc.) and PaaS (Azure SQL, App Services, AKS, containers, etc.). Strong SQL coding skills and knowledge of Python. Strong knowledge of DevOps including CI/CD tools, and automation. Experience with scoping, estimating, cost analysis and resource planning of projects. Good business acumen and ability to translate commercial requirements into technical solutions including ability to communicate technical concepts and their impact to stakeholders at all levels.
