The
Service Operations Support (SOS) department is the backbone of our regional operations, ensuring seamless collaboration across procurement, outsourcing, training, and business support by
- being the interface towards Procurement and suppliers for the work packages we outsource
- manage the operational outsourcing (ordering, scheduling, administration, quality assurance, etc.) management of Vestas technician teams which temporarily support from outside the own region
- business support to ensure an efficient execution of administrative tasks
- training coordination for the technicians for the whole Service region Central and
- acting as the interface to the Vestas training academy
Your Role as the
(Senior) Manager Service Operations Support, you will:
- Lead a team of ~9 direct reports and ~90 employees across multiple functions
- Oversee all subcontracting activities, ensuring budget adherence and operational excellence
- Act as the primary liaison for external service providers, suppliers, and training partners
- Ensure quality assurance, scheduling, and administration for outsourced work packages
- Coordinate technician training across the region in partnership with the Vestas Training Academy
- Serve as the escalation point for procurement, finance, and workwear-related matters

Qualifications - Extensive experience managing complex, cross-functional operations
- Commercial or technical degree
- Skilled leadership background with a track record of team development
- Experience in change management and continuous process improvement
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
